The meeting with key climate stakeholders is likely to analyse the role India can play at the summit to make it a success.

COP26 President Alok Sharma arrived in New Delhi for a three-day in-person visit ahead of UN Climate Change Conference, to discuss India’s role in making the summit a success. The conference will take place in Glasgow, UK, in Nov. this year.

Mr. Sharma is expected to meet Bhupender Yadav, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and RK Singh, Minister of Power and New and Renewable Energy.
