Google to develop more products out of India

The business launched the US$10 billion Google for India Digitization Fund last year, as well as a US$4.5 billion investment in Reliance Jio Platforms.

Sundar Pichai, Google's CEO, emphasized that the business remained dedicated to developing products in India, and that the US$10 billion Google for India Digitization Fund was a sign of the company's faith in the country's future. Pichai was addressing analysts at a put up earnings name on Tuesday after the corporate introduced its outcomes for 2021.

"It's a reflection of our confidence in the future of India, its digital economy, our desire to build products there, which we think will help us globally," said Pichai.
