US man charged with felony stalking after yelling malicious remarks at Indian-American Congresswoman
While Forsell acknowledged cursing, he denied levelling racial or ethnic slurs against Jayapal or encouraging her to hurt herself.

Indian-American Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal was threatened by Brett Forsell, a 49-year-old man, who is now charged with the felony of stalking in the United States. The man armed with a pistol was outside Jayapal's home yelling "Go back to India" while also threatening to kill her.
According to court filings, the King County Prosecutor's Office asked for US$ 500,000 in bail, asserting that the defendant is "likely to commit a violent offence if free in the community."
