A group of US senators has announced plans to introduce a nondiscrimination bill that could restructure Amazon's online marketplace. This after a report accusing Amazon of secretly manipulating internal data from its marketplace to replicate products sold by other companies and manipulate search results in India.

The American Choice and Innovation Online Act, introduced by Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-Minnesota) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), would restrict companies like Amazon, Apple, and Google from leveraging their online supremacy to disadvantage competitors.
