US Secretary of Commerce appoints Indian American business leaders to U.S.-India CEO Forum

The bilateral forum was formed to improve the economical relationship and reduce trade barriers between the two countries

U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo announced the appointment of 19 new members, including several Indian Americans, to the U.S.-India CEO Forum on Wednesday.

“The Forum is a critical channel through which our two governments receive invaluable private sector input to sharpen our shared approach on issues at the heart of the U.S.-India commercial relationship,” said Raimondo, who chairs the forum with Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
