Venkaiah Naidu to lead India at ASEM Summit

India has joined the ASEM process during the year 2006. During the seventh Asia-Europe Meeting Summit held in 2008, India witnessed first summit-level participation. ‌‌

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will lead India's delegation at the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit, which will adopt 'strengthening multilateralism for shared growth' as its agenda.

According to the country's external affairs ministry, the summit will also focus on issues related to post-pandemic socio-economic recovery and development, other issues of concern, both regional and global.
