Veteran Bengali singer Sandhya Mukherjee passes away at 90
Sandhya Mukherjee was awarded the Banga Bibhusan, Bengal's highest civilian honour, in 2011 and the National Film Award for best female playback singer in 1970.
Geetashree Sandhya Mukherjee Sandhya Mukherjee, a veteran Bengali singer, died at a private hospital in Kolkata after suffering a massive cardiac attack on Feb. 15 2022, as per doctors.
She was 90 years old and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law.
