'Virat' President's bodyguard horse retires on 73rd Republic Day
Virat has participated in 13 Republic Day parades and has received the Chief of the Army Staff Commendation.

On the 73rd Republic Day, Virat, the President's Bodyguard Commandant's black horse, retired after his years of service.
After the parade, President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh patted and said their goodbyes to the majestic horse.
