Vishal Jood, 24, who was arrested by NSW Police for his alleged involvement in an attack on Khalistanis in Australia in March and April this year, was released from the Australian jail and reached his native place in Haryana’s Karnal on Sunday, where he was given a warm welcome by the Ror community to which he belongs, and others.

Following the protest by the community members who had demanded his release from the Australia jail, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia had taken up the matter with Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar for his early release.
