Deepanker Khosla, an Indian Chef based in Thailand, was one of the three winners of the Champions of Change award presented by the World’s 50 best restaurants academy. The award recognizes individuals from the hospitality sector who contributed by making humanitarian efforts during the height of the pandemic.

Chef Khosla was recognized for raising funds through his #NoOneHungry campaign and converting his restaurant in Bangkok into a soup kitchen to feed the needy during trying times. Additionally, he employed migrants in his kitchen to help them sustain their families in difficult times of the pandemic.
