Wockhardt and Serum Institute of India tie up in UK
The joint venture includes a new facility set up at Wrexham, North Wales to make more doses for the markets across Europe and the UK.

Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company, Wockhardt and a branch of Serum Institute of India (SII), Serum Life Sciences, entered into a partnership to make 150 million doses of SII vaccines in Wockhardt’s UK plant.
A new facility set up has been planned at Wrexham in North Wales. The two companies initiated this joint venture with an equal investment from both sides.
