Women of Indian Origin on Forbes’ List of World’s 100 Most Powerful Women

Here are six Indian-origin women who made the list of most powerful women in the world in 2021 according to Forbes magazine.

Every Year Forbes Magazine releases its list of 100 most powerful women in the world. This year’s edition included 40 CEOs and 19 world leaders out of whom six are women of Indian-origin.

At the number two ranking under the category of Politics & Policy is the US vice president Kamala Harris, who moved up a spot from 2020. The Indian-origin politician made headlines this year when she became the first female vice president in the history of the United States.
